About FCTAS RAS
FCTAS RAS results from a merger of leading sociological institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The Center focuses on priority directions of contemporary social sciences using interdisciplinary, multidimensional
and contextual approaches. It sets out to explore in depth the static and dynamic perspectives of contemporary society.
Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail F.Chernysh currently occupies the position of the Center’s Director.
